I am loving Charles' books and his entire philosophy and practice is in harmony with the life of the soil - No Dig! The world needs this awareness For this reason I am applying it in my small garden and recommending to all my patients that they should get to know Charles Dowding's wonderful work and books. Thank you Charles and your entire team.

Excellent for anyone wanting to do veg gardening with children

It is readable by year 5-6s, but above all gives lots of good practical ideas for approaches and activities suitable for ages 3 to 11 +, including the initial tasks of setting up a no dig veg patch.
Is explains it all very clearly and is beautifully illustrated. I lead a primary school gardening club and this should go on the reading list for anyone doing similar work and be stocked in every school library!
