This course has all the information you need to create one or more no dig beds, and to start growing your own vegetables.
The content has been created especially for anyone at an early stage of their growing journey and is shorter than the three full-length courses, with the aim of giving enough information, but not so much that it feels overwhelming.

5 stars from me! Absolutely love the design and its good quality as well.
More tea towels with fabulous designs please!! Perhaps one of Minty as she is so popular 😄

Only just started, going ok and learninglots

Beautiful tea towel, so decorative and a generous size. A lovely gift for friends.

I ordered both these books and I'm currently halfway through the compost book. I have had a quick flick through the no dig book and I think they are informative and excellent reference material.I had to completely turn my father's overgrown garden into a clear space and the no dig approach was what spurred me on.

This course 'filled' my inner well of delight.. and I have incorporated this knowledge into my New No Dig bed.. Highly recommend.
I absolutely love the No Dig Cookbook!! Leafing through I was delighted to see how few ingredients are required for each dish, some books have huge lists that really puts me off! I have so far made the Celeriac Remoulade which is just delicious, and also the Spanish potatoes, amazing. Thank you Cat and Charles for my new favourite Cookbook!

This combined with the calendar is brilliant. You get so many seeds you could feed an army. I have a 0.6acre plot and I think I will fill it. If only I could calculate how many containers were required as I keep running out. Found that pumpkins were not in the April box but in the calendar. Just not sure if you plant the entire box or save some for other monthly entries in the calendar. If this was aligned there could be an allotment pack or family of 4 pack etc. Include the containers and you would never buy another vegetable. Just need a greenhouse now to propagate everything

The book has opened a door in my mind, and I am wondering which of the earth enhancing actions to take first. I enjoyed this little book, and will be keeping it in my summer house so that it is close by and I’m able to refer and get inspiration easily

No sh#t Sherlock!!!! Although it is a book to keep coming back to, i read half within a day. Addictive!!!!

Marvellous, wish I had bought it in January, so nice to have a nose at the garden, but best of all, day by day guide to what to plant.. thanks great instagram account too ..

Charles Dowding did it again. The information and references in his Energies book have given me new avenues to explore in my gardening journey. Yes, gardening for me is a journey of discovery to find more beautiful, abundant, healthy, and easier ways of growing food. Charles has earned my respect and admiration.
Charles' contribution to society and culture is immeasurable and will forever improve lives around the world. My wish is that one day King Charles of England knights Charles Dowding for his increasingly important work spreading the word on no-dig gardening. Kevin W.

No Dig is easy to read. It's set out in small sections & the language is inclusive. It is a wonderful sharing of years of experience of growing veg! I took a degree in Horticulture 50 years ago but found it hard to get my head around the tight time scales needed to succeed with vegetable growing. No Dig was mentioned as a possible method but without the underlying theory that Charles Dowding explains so I never had the courage till now. I am 70 & I have taken on an allotment that has been cultivated by the same person for 30 years. He died 2 seasons ago & left 8x4mx1m beds covered in black plastic & 2 bays of well-rotted compost which I am barrowing out as fast as my unfit, ancient body can manage! I've also connected with 2 village shops to collect their cardboard weekly & yesterday one had 2 pallets going free! I am in heaven each time I go down there & after working for an hour I sit in my gifted folding chair & listen to the birdsong . Thank you Charles for enabling my dream of an organic No Dig allotment to grow along with my plants!
Need help with No Dig around established, weedy fruit bushes & trees, though. Is there a book for this?

I’ve been gardening semi successfully for 30 years. The skills book just helped me so much as did many of Charles’s other books. Thank you x

The least I can say is that I am delighted at all levels, the quality of the content is top of the list, the graphic quality is high, the teaching is clear and straightforward, and the list could go on... I have made a few attempts to plant a small family garden, but this course, and I am still only halfway through "No Dig Gardening", is motivating me to use the method and make my garden a place of leisure for me and my family, and who knows, maybe start a small commercial farm. Congratulations to Charles Dowding for the way he runs the course and to the entire team. Definitely money well spent.
