Pests & Diseases Mini-Course
In this mini-course, I explain how to reduce the likelihood of pests becoming problematic, even how to prevent them. Because most plants, at some stage in their lives, will meet a pest, or several. This will affect the amount and quality of harvest, sometimes to zero, which can be so disheartening!
The course will also help you to understand and manage the likely diseases you will encounter when growing food. You’ll learn which diseases to worry about! And at what stage of growth.
Calendar of Vegetable Sowing Dates 2025 (Digital)
My best sowing dates, illustrated with beautiful and informative photos from my garden at Homeacres.
Each month of the growing season has my favourite sowing dates for each vegetable, to increase the likelihood of successful harvests. Every date is based on decades of fine-tuning from observations and learning.
- Use these dates to help you enjoy a regular supply of fresh produce through all four seasons.
As well as sowing dates, I give a brief vegetable growing summary for every month, to help you keep on track. I also share my tips for successful sowing and there is a yearly sowing overview table, to help you plan which vegetables you are going to grow, and when.
Useful Information Pack
A bank of useful information that can be used alongside any of my online courses, knowledge packs, growing guides, books or web pages.
It contains:
- Information on the seasons and weather
- A comprehensive glossary of gardening terms that I use, explained in a few words
- A table showing which vegetables belong to which plant family
- A table with detailed spacing information for a wide range of vegetables

Garlic Growing Guide
